WHICH DISCIPLINE ARE YOU INTERESTED IN?

Since 1868 the DCRA has supported shooting disciplines using both bullseye and military-type targets.

Today we offer 6 core disciplines, in addition to those offered by our affiliated Provincial Rifle Associations and partners.

TARGET RIFLE

Target Rifle is a traditional target sport, and presents the unique challenge of shooting long range using iron sights with no external support for the rifle. Shooting is done on targets from 300m - 900m.

F-CLASS

F-Class shooting is done from 300m-900m with rifles supported by bipods or mechanical front rests and using highly magnified optics. Wind reading is at a premium in order to hit the 10" bullseye at nearly 1 km.

BLACK POWDER

The DCRA Black Powder matches celebrate the half-mile Canadian marksmanship tradition and are a more leisurely, less formal and less rule encumbered pursuit than many other modern shooting disciplines.
